Track Name: Storm in the City
There’s a storm in the city
And the rain is coming down
But the one thing I cannot understand
Is how you can let me drown

Beauty comes and beauty goes
With shallow eyes anger flows
Its not the words or the things you say
Its the truth in your eyes that gives you away
But it won’t matter when its all washed away

There are passions and there are crimes
They’re our reflection of our times
Hear their voices, see their tears
Hold them down, feed their fears
But it won’t matter when its all washed away
Track Name: Get Like This
I get like this every time she’s on my display
I get like this every time she comes into my day

What did I do to deserve this?

Flashing lights in my eyes, maybe it’s the truth, maybe its a lie
Blinding lights in my eyes, maybe it’s the truth, or maybe its a lie

What did I do to deserve this?

If your lover’s doing you wrong
And you don’t know where to turn to
I suggest you run straight outta love

You don’t have to try to be the apple in her eye
You don’t have to lie to yourself then wonder why

Maybe I do deserve this
Track Name: Sharing Time
Looking out over the town
From my tower I see down
Reminders of feelings
When I saw you leaving
A sorry face, worried smile

I feel these days won’t hurry by
They seem to stray away from time
I keep on counting
Praying for steel wings
To carry me to your feet

Everyday my fever grows
The closer it gets the better I know
My cure is in finding
Two hearts uniting
Intertwined, sharing time

Looking out over the town
From my tower I see down
Reminders of leaving
Soon I’ll be seeing
Your treasured face, melting smile

I miss you my child
I really miss you my child
I really miss you
Track Name: Still Loving You
You don’t find me in the morning
And the pillow is all cold
And you feel yourself all lonely
Facing some days alone

Well you’ve got to hold on
As long as you can
Cos there ain’t anyone else
Who can be your man

Even though we’ve been parted for some days and nights
I’m still loving you
But you’d better get ready for some loving tonight
I’ll be coming soon

There are times when you are hungry
And sometimes you are full
It’s the difference that’s the sweetness
That gives meaning to it all

And you know it’s gonna be alright
When you’re in these arms tonight
Yeah you know I’ll make it alright
And that feeling you’ve got will be gone

So just hold yourself together
For just a few more hours
And I will be there to collect you
Up in my arms
Track Name: Fat Freddy
You know what it’s like when the end is in sight
And all you want to do is carry on
Then somebody suggests they know a place where you can go
Where you can get a drink and hit on chicks and know it won’t be closed
But when you get there you find it’s a twenty quid to get inside so you say “Hell no!”
“But that’s fine ‘cos if we want a good time
All we gotta do is dial, somebody’s bound to be able to help us”

Fat Freddy is always ever ready
To bring some bags and sell ‘em in this city
He’s got everything that you might want
Fat Freddy is always ever ready
An SMS away if you’ve got the reddies
He’ll make any night carry on

So you do one and charge around about the town
Inbox someone to find out where it’s going down
Then somebody suggest they know a house where you can go
Where you can smash some drinks and also chicks and yes it’s really close
But when get there you find bear peeps but the place is dry so you say “I know!”
“This is fine but if y’all want a good time”
“All I gotta do is dial! I know a man who can help us out!”

And so you wait juggling the vibe in the black
Anxiously checking to see if Freddy has dinged you back
Then somebody suggests you know its also good to score some blow
To fix the quiet when it gets low then bun an eighth for the status quo
A short run to get funds it’s milky bars for everyone so you say “Hell yo!”
“That’s fine it’s mash up time”
“I’ll get my phone out and re-dial”

Now it’s four a m and you’re thinking about going home
Just one more line but that went time ago
Then somebody suggests they know a number they can dial and lo
A Beamer will attend the show in around about half hour and so
A short run to get funds give your pin to the chosen one and you say “OK!”
“That’s fine let’s go a second time”
“Just get your phone out a dial!”

(It might put you down but it will certainly wake you up)
Track Name: Would You Hold it Against Me
What if people say it’s wrong
Would you hold it against me?
What if it comes on too strong
Would you hold it against me?

Fine line between right and wrong
So let’s get it done

What if no-one's got that long
Would you hold it against me?
What if time is nearly gone
Would you hold it against me?

Fine line between right and wrong
So let's get it done

What if we just can’t go on
Would you hold it against me?
What if it can't be undone
Would you hold it against me?

Fine line between right and wrong
So let’s get it done
